Habilitative Intervention is a highly individualized service provided directly to your child to decrease challenging behaviors and increase skills in communication, socialization, self-direction, independence and play. Our professionals are certified by the State of Idaho and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Habilitative Supports help a child with a disability by facilitating the child’s independence and integration into the community. This service provides an opportunity for children to explore their interests, practice skills learned in other therapeutic environments, and learn through interactions in typical community activities.

Family Training is direct instruction to the family teaching the skills necessary to maximize learning and decrease challenging behaviors.

Interdisciplinary Training allows your child’s Habilitative Interventionist time to instruct and collaborate with other staff, therapists, and health care providers involved with your child.  This service facilitates consistency among service providers such as speech, occupational therapy, physical therapy, personal-care services (PCS), counselors and school providers.

Therapeutic Consultation is a service that is provided to children who are currently receiving Habilitative Intervention and have been determined through assessment that they require a more advanced level of training and assistance based on the child’s complex needs. The consultant can perform advanced assessments, monitor the progress and coordinate the implementation of the plan across all environments, as well as consult with other service providers.

Respite is planned or emergency care provided to a child or adult with a special need in order to provide temporary relief to the family caregiver of that child or adult. Respite is a short-term, temporary break away from the responsibilities of providing care and allowing an alternate care provider to help the individual who is in need of constant care.
